Michael was born in Soviet Russia and came to the United States at two years old with his parents and siblings as a political refugee. He grew up in the small town of Washougal, near Portland Oregon, and still calls the area his home. He continues to pursue his dream of writing and speaking in hopes of helping people discover a better way to live.
