Writing poetry has been a life-long passion that I recently got brave enough to share with the world. Sometimes, in my darkest or brightest hours, I can't express my emotions. That's when putting pen to paper releases the joy, sorrow or frustrations that are pent up inside this crazy mind. Poetry, to me, traps forever the moods or emotions of an event. Trapping these memories forever to share through the written word is what sustains me in this life of mine. I have 1 son, 1 daughter, and 8 grandchildren. I work at The Bookworm Box and its very inspiring to be surrounded by books all day. I enjoy spending time with my family, working in my yard, gardening, reading poetry, playing with my little dog, Misa, and working on my next poetry book. I include a wide variety of poetry in my books so there will be a poem for everyone. I'm constantly researching to get new ideas for poems. There are poems all around you, you just need to look for them. I have a little office where I do all of my writing and research. I love spending quality time with my computer and hanging out in my office. I try to write every day, but sometimes I just sit back and enjoy looking at all of the stuff on my desk.
