Michele Khalil was born a dreamer, which led her to leave the US behind in search of adventure. After three years of eating dumplings, floundering Mandarin, and getting enough traveling experience to last a lifetime, Michele settled down (temporarily) in Alexandria, Egypt with her husband and two cats where she is currently busying herself with teaching 7 year-olds the joy of books & scrambling to finish her next novel. When she isn't bashing her head against the keyboard, Michele enjoys copious amounts of coffee (like all good authors), taking long drives on their scooter by the sea, and reading novels that make her cry.
