Michele Patrick has always loved a spooky tale. Her love affair with Prague's supernatural legends began with the stories her Czechoslovak grandfather shared, and (now that she knows that there are no monsters under the bed) she is thrilled to be able to take the reader on a magical tour of this most ghostly of cities in her new book, Haunted Prague. A professional writer and award winning speechwriter, Michele is a former United States National Collegiate Champion in public speaking and a Fulbright Scholar to the University of London. She has served as a speechwriter for the President’s Cabinet, the United States Senate, and the Presidents of the University of Pennsylvania and Georgetown. An avid traveler, Michele has visited 37 countries on six continents. She has visited Prague many times and lived there in 1991—looking for monsters and spirits not just under the bed but around every corner and on every street and square.
