Michelle Dujardin (1979) is a Dutch artist, illustrator and drawing teacher. She started her own company in 2010. After finishing her university degree in clinical and health psychology in Leiden, the Netherlands in 2003, she decided to pick up her old love for drawing and painting. She was looking for a new way to combine her passion for art and the human mind and went to look for knowledge about the psychological side of creativity and art. On that journey of discovery she came into contact with 'Buddhist Psychology', where she found the answers that were outside the Western frame of mind in which she was trained. She also came into contact with the scientific ideas of Betty Edwards and the more spiritual approach to drawing of Frederick Franck. It wasn't until she started to use Frederick Franck's method in her own artwork, when everything came together and she found what she had been looking for. It gave birth to a vibrant and minimalistic way of painting, which is now the bases of all her work.
