It's the dawn of the twenty-first century, or at least the year 2000. Instead of partying like it's 1999, Olympic gymnast Mark is ringing in the New Year alone in a hotel gym overlooking Sydney Harbour. When Mark's boyfriend Daniel returns unexpectedly from his job at a gold mine in Kalgoorlie, Mark shares his concerns over making the Australian Olympic team, and over maintaining their long-distance relationship for another year.
