Total Enhancement

2020

CIU Agent Mina Kane has her lamella gloves full in the year 2105. Mina Kane has been on assignment undercover for eighteen insufferable months trying to box up a sticky-fingered hacker. She’s eager for this op to be finished—not only because the boredom of telework is literally draining the life out of her, but she’s desperate to be rid of the fresh-faced rookie. Agent Adams is driving her straight into the stratosphere with his wide-eyed enthusiasm and lack of sufficient training. Luckily for Mina, her next case is a solo classified. Someone at Total Enhancement Pet Center, where pet owners pay for their furbabies to be pampered, is using their access to attach encrypted data onto animals. Mina’s job is to uncover who it is. But what she discovers at Total Enhancement goes much deeper than just encryptions. The plan changes from passive to action faster than a world currency coin can spin on its edge. One thing is for sure—catching bad guys in 2105 is never boring.

Perfect Plant

2020

In 2105, bad guys love gardening. Mina Kane’s next undercover op is of the green thumb variety. Tasked to break into a penthouse at the tip-top of a megascraper and airmeld incriminating data on a hydro-shipping mogul, Mina must first pose as an apt gardener who knows a thing or two about roses. The only problem is the rookie’s along for the ride and he’s a pro at making everything more difficult than it has to be. Infiltrating the inner sanctum proves to be time consuming, and Agent Adam has a chance to shine, but that’s not all Mina’s in for. Her baby brother is in some trouble, and Vincent Kramer, the colonel-in-arms of the French Protectorate, is missing. An encrypted locator shows up at Mina’s door, but her childhood-pal-turned-international-heartthrob, is still nowhere to be found. This op is one solar flare away from being the biggest, deadliest one yet.

Cupid's Bow

2020

Cherubs aren’t the only ones who go missing in 2105. Finding Vincent Kramer, the colonel-in-arms of the French Protectorate, has become a must-do on Mina’s task log, but that’s before she discovers Veritus is planning a deadly vendetta against the city. The killing ring is still operational and finding them takes precedent over locating the colonel. According to the intel, Mina and her team have less than twenty-four hours to complete the task. Instead of actively searching for the perpetrators, Agent Kane and Agent Adams are forced to retreat underground, where they meet up with a crafty superhacker who holds the answers to the Cupid’s Bow. After the case breaks apart like a space rock exploding into ten trillion quarks, Mina teams up with an unlikely companion who’s already in pursuit. Mina has no choice but to join forces and trust he knows what he’s doing. Too bad only one of them is telling the truth.

Vid Star

2021

Apparently, vid stars need CIU NannyBots in 2105. Secret Agent Mina Kane’s prime objective is to help a friend who’s running from a powerful corporation hellbent on keeping him quiet. While doing so, she finds herself inside a lollipop shop at the edge of the outskirts. After receiving a pleading request, in a place where she has no jurisdiction, Mina finds her hands are bound in purelock. Things take a turn when she and Agent Adams are assigned to investigate a threatening message received by a vid star. They’re hoping for light duty but the op quickly morphs into full-blown extortion. When none other than Vincent Kramer attends the vid premiere, things go from flying under the radar to being launched into full strato. After an attempted murder, Mina and company transport their spoiled celeb to the edge of the outskirts where everything coalesces into a moon shot of a case. Maybe highly trained colonels from France can be of some use?

Code Teal

2021

Even crafty ex-marshals need help in 2105. Agent Mina Kane discovers that her pal, ex-marshal Norm Webb, is missing. It’s unusual for a highly trained agent to disappear into thin air, but that’s exactly what he does. Mina tracks down an old case, a likely candidate who was recently sprung from a box and happens to be a deviant who enjoys cruelty. But waiting the mandatory forty-eight hours to make this op official might prove too deadly for Norm. While investigating the ex-marshal’s whereabouts, Mina and Lee, with help from a certain colonel from France, discover that the suspect has ties to the Syndicate, and things get hotter than a comet trailing toward Earth. Before any action takes place, Mina and Lee get called back to headquarters to participate in an audit. The higher-ups are suspicious of their recent headlining cases, so they’ve launched an inquiry. But it quickly becomes clear that their intentions are not on the up and up. It’s not every day your rookie partner gets a commendation. Go, Lee!

Drop Zone

2021

In 2105, getting big things to tumble from the sky is possible. After ex-marshal Webb’s torture at the hands of a Syndicate fixer, it’s time to figure out who was involved and hold them accountable. After a deep confession from Webb, Mina realizes the risk the fixer poses, and authorization comes for her and her team to track him down. The laser fires hot when a Syndicate team searches the fixer’s unit and the colonel-in-arms’ DNA is identified. Everything involved with this case must stay well under the radar or it will place Mina and the entire department in jeopardy. That means completing an unprecedented mission in hopes of bringing down a notorious crime ring for good. With the help of her partner, Lee Adams, and the extremely talented hacker Harmony Biggins, they hatch a plan that qualifies as the most ambitious of Mina’s career. The race is on, and with the help of the colonel-in-arms, they just might pull it off.
