Miranda's earliest memory of writing goes back to a third-grade story competition, where she wrote about a cat and a horse who became best friends. Spoiler alert: it was bad and she didn't win. She's almost over it now. ​These days, Miranda writes contemporary fiction with romance and anxiety rep, in hopes that readers will feel represented, empowered, and giddy. They have a cat named Rizzo, and two dogs, Babybel (like the cheese) and Louise. Miranda works in the travel industry, and is also a part-time Pure Barre instructor. She hates raisins, and would put her life on the line for a good chocolate chip cookie.
