Mirella Muffarotto is a Milano-based screenwriter, author, and published economist, just like Spider-Man needs to be Peter Parker sometimes. Her background as a screenwriter is unconventional. It's been a process. It has taken time and perseverance, but along the way she started to build the foundation to eventually write that special screenplay and break into the Entertainment Industry. Quoting Rocky Balboa, "Every champion was once a contender that refused to give up." Okay, let's face it, Mirella speaks fluent movie quotes and sets film and TV themes as ringtones. Loosely based on her YA novel, her feature film script DON'T KISS JULIET GOODBYE, a feel-good Teen Romance Movie with sports subplot and a focus on diversity and environmental awareness, quarterfinalist of the 2021 ScreenCraft Family Screenplay Competition, is under consideration. Mirella received her PhD summa cum laude in Political, Economic and Social Sciences from the University of Milan.
