Kat Nevidany lost her job, and believed she lost the best part of her life, when an accident took her leg. Needing to find work, the ex-cop reluctantly takes a position as a Private Investigator. Her first case looks easy enough on the surface, a missing person. Things become increasingly complicated when Kat finds herself drawn into a world filled with supernatural creatures, and the case now seems so much more than it first appeared. Working for a werewolf, and hunting a vampire, Kat may well be out of her depth, but when the human victims are considered nothing more than collateral damage, she is damned if she can walk away.
