When Barry’s first collection of stories was read aloud by his second grade teacher, the author hid. As the years flew by, he wrote more, hid less (not really), and branched out to Super 8 films and cassette tape recorders. Barry’s audience—consisting solely of friends and family—were both amused and bemused. Since those childhood days, Barry has earned degrees in English and French from the State University of New York College at Brockport, and a Master of Arts in Writing from the Johns Hopkins University. Tinseltown, a Finalist in the 24th Annual Lambda Literary Awards, is Barry’s first novel. His novel The Celestial won the Gold Medal in the 2012 ForeWord Book of the Year Awards and was a Finalist in the 25th Annual Lambda Literary Awards. Reunion, a collection of linked stories, was a Finalist in the 2012 ForeWord Book of the Year Awards. His work has appeared in SNReview, Perspectives, Time Pilot, Liquid Ohio, Nocturnal Lyric, Midnight Times, Gival Press’s ArLiJo, and Polari Journal. His stories, novels and teleplays have won awards, including a 2008 Pushcart Prize nomination; 3rd Place in the 2010 Pacific Northwest Writers Association (PNWA) literary contest and finalist status in the 2006, 2008, 2009, 2012, and 2013 PNWA contests; 3rd Place in the 79th Annual Writer’s Digest Writing Competition and a winning entry in the 2013 WILDSound Screenplay competition. When not embroiled in his own writing, Barry sips wine, nibbles on chocolate, and watches films and TV—both the classic and the cheesy. (Mmm…cheese!) http://barrybrennessel.com/

I’ve been in love with words since before I drew breath, and I don’t see that ever changing. I write stories. Sometimes I write music with them, sometimes they’re poems, and lately, to my great delight, M/M erotic romance. Yum. Smexy man to the second…or third power…now that’s the kinda math I can get behind!! The hair curls or frizzes as it will, the eyes are green and tend to look in two different directions—no, really—and the rest is subject to change. You know the guy who didn’t know if he was a butterfly dreaming he was a man or a man dreaming he was a butterfly? Yeah, that’s me, but substitute drag queen for butterfly and wacky, wild ex-Army chick for man.

I’m born and bred in the Netherlands, where talking about the weather is the national sport (although we pretend it’s soccer) and a favorite saying is you’d better act normal cause that’s crazy enough. I like talking about the weather, but I’m not a big fan of normality. Despite that, I lead a mostly quiet and disturbingly normal life and keep the craziness contained in my head. As a child I read too much, finding the world of fiction far more interesting than everyday life, and even now I try to spend as much time as possible in other people’s heads, through books and writing, and through my alter ego life as a psychologist. On any given day, you can find me curled up on my couch with a spicy book, one or both of her two cats, some tea, and ample amounts of Dutch chocolate. I’ve been writing for about five years, after I started watching professional wrestling, and those hot, practically naked man invaded my head, became my muses and forced me to start writing. For a few years I read, wrote, and obsessed about pro-wrestling slash fanfiction, and in the end of 2012 I made the step to writing my own characters. In 2013 I published my first two stories: 'Running Away From Sunshine' which was published by Dreamspinner, and 'Is It Me You’re Looking For' published by ManLoveRomance Press. This year I will once again be featured in Dreamspinner’s Daily Dose Anthology with my story 'Breaking Down Our Walls' which will be available in june 2014. Also coming this summer is the free novella Into The Wastelands, my first foray into fantasy.
CR Guiliano has been an avid reader since the tender age of four. She discovered gay erotic romance and was so inspired by the sultry, yet touching romances that she added it to her growing genre of writing. She also writes fantasy, paranormal and scifi. "I have to quiet the voices in my head somehow." She says with a laugh. Many a night she has been awakened by those voices, only to feverishly write down the gist of their clammering so she can flesh out (sometimes literally lol) the story later at a more respectable hour. In her spare time, she is a single mother living in the desert of Arizona with her son and a multitude of cats...and one very sweet snake.

Karenna Colcroft is a mother, wife, partner, and former teacher who began writing romance and erotic romance in 2006. After a few years' hiatus, she returned in 2022 to rerelease some previously-published works and bring new stories, primarily paranormal romance, to her readers. Karenna has previously written both heterosexual romance and male/male. As of January 2023 she is focusing solely on male/male romance. Karenna is a polyamorous nonbinary human who kinda stinks at writing bios on websites like this but does her best.
