
Michael J. Polelle is an emeritus professor of law and retired lawyer from UIC School of Law in Chicago. He ran a Media Law Conference at the law school and a summer program at the University of Parma in Italy. While in Chicago he was a columnist for Fra Noi magazine. The Mithras Conspiracy is a mystery-category finalist in the Royal Palm Literary Award Contest sponsored by the Florida Writers Association. The novel also received a "Gold Seal" from the Eric Hoffer Book Award as a finalist for commercial fiction. He now lives in Sarasota, Florida with his wife where he happily devotes his days to writing novels and tending an herb garden.
