A retired psychotherapist, I now spend much of my time writing. A lover of nature, I feel very in tune with the Native American approach to life. I am concerned about the degradation of life, world-wide, into stark materialism, that has been taking place, slowly and gradually over the last fifty years, but which has now sunk to catastrophic new lows. Children - their early nurturing in the home, and then the way they are educated in school - determine the health of any society. I would like to see the education system (in the US for a start) changed to foster a more natural, more caring, more intelligent curriculum for children.
