Morgan Lee Scheel, was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. As a child, she attended, a private grammar school that focused on creative arts and had an advanced literature curriculum. Morgan loved to read. As a child, she would stay up for hours at night reading. She remembers her parents shutting off the upstairs circuit breaker at night in order to stop her from reading and go to sleep. However, Morgan’s father was an electrician and she would stock up on flashlights whenever she was around his toolboxes. Late at night when the lights were shut off, she would hide under her covers and read with flashlights or by the moonlight coming through her bedroom window. After completing a degree in Liberal Arts she moved to Music City, USA, to pursue her love of writing and music in 2000. Morgan has a real understanding for what children love because she loves the same things. She is the mother of a fabulous five-year-old daughter and loves all things that are colorful, bright, happy, beautiful and fun. Her motto in life is that “Everything Is Better When You Add Some Glitter!”
