Robert Jake, the highest rated talk radio personality in the nation, shares his life with his listeners and they love him for it. The former Army Special Forces Officer is off the air frequently as he fights the demons of severe depression stemming from the loss of 18 soldiers under his command 13 years earlier in an Iraq firefight. The death of his wife has made things worse. He is a single parent now to a 14 year old daughter who seems to have inherited the genes of her mother. She and a rescued border collie helps to keep his sanity intact.
