When the annual arts festival in the small west coast town of Clifden is interrupted by the discovery of a man’s body, the organisers fear the whole event will be ruined. Senior Inspector Maureen Lyons heads down from Galway only to find that the man has been killed in a most unusual manner, and it can’t be anything but murder. As the local Garda go about town rustling feathers, Lyons’ investigation takes a strange turn. The British secret service have an interest in the man who is now lying in the morgue. Under pressure to cooperate but uncertain of the agenda, can the Irish detectives crack the case and find the killer before he disappears off the radar?
