Atticus McLaren likes a quiet life. He's forty-five, lives in a converted garden shed, likes photography, murder mysteries and is autistic. He's also a museum tech at the National Museum of Scotland. He works on artefacts, after hours, when the museum is quiet and empty. When he begins to hear strange noises and finds artefacts out of place, no one will listen to him until the security guard turns up dead. Then he enlists the help of his brother, Scout and his friend, Freddy to investigate the case. Are the incidents related and what's really happening at the museum?
