
Photographer, international best selling author, speaker, and Savannah's goodwill ambassador. From promoter for rock bands in the late 60's, to graduate law student, to journalist in the 70’s and 80's touring and photographing all major rock bands, he published his first book in 1982,"Great Balls of Fire: The Uncensored Story of Jerry Lee Lewis (Morrow)," which was adapted to the big screen. This journey is chronicled in his memoirs, "When Elvis Meets the Dalai Lama." In 2005 Silver authored "Behind the Moss Curtain and Other Great Savannah Stories" intending to turn them into Savannah movies. The events surrounding the title story led him to pursue an interest in the paranormal. Silver is recognized as an expert on the subject of Spirit and regularly appears on syndicated radio programs devoted to the paranormal.
