Ivy My life has always been a little chaotic. Being in college has brought me little solace from my father, whose drinking has only gotten worse over the years. When his debts get out of hand, I’m forced into hiding. With the help of my older brother, Jake, I am quickly able to find a place in the wilds of Northern Pennsylvania. Luke Shaw, one of my brother’s long-time friends, a rugged mountain man is the only person I can count on for protection. At first, Luke is a man of mystery to me; tall, hot, brooding, and not to mention the billions he has somehow inherited. I’m not sure what his motives are. And yet, I feel drawn to him, a sense of desire and the feeling of safety in his arms. Slowly, as he begins to open up to me, I learn more about his world and the beautiful nature he inhabits. Up in the wilderness, where the air is crisp and time seems to stand still, can I figure out how to manage my deepest desires? I can learn how to navigate through the wilderness, but will I be able to navigate my own heart? Will I find a way to escape from Joe’s Crew? Or will my father’s past catch up to me?
