On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me … twelve sweet, short, swoony stories! Twelve authors have interpreted a day of the Christmas carol, Twelve Days of Christmas, to bring you sweet holiday romance reads centred around a Christmas tree farm, “Pining for You”. A snowstorm makes Miss Partridge crash into a pear tree, needing rescue from a burly tow truck driver. There are mistletoe kisses and missiles of mistletoe as witches chase thieving swans under a full moon at Yule while another witch performs a ritual with five golden rings. Eleven pipers in kilts herald the lighting of the Christmas tree and a marriage celebrant and wedding photographer meet at another’s nuptials. An artisan has a very goosey meet-cute with a handsome Englishman, a goat farmer meets a beautiful woman rescuing kittens, and there’s an unexpected reunion with an ex which could lead to a second chance. An art historian has a chance encounter with an auctioneer, and it’s jingle bell rock when twelve drummers audition to join a band and one is up against her childhood crush. Get ready to laugh-out-loud and cozy up with this sweet Christmas romance anthology full of heart, love and joy featuring award-winning and best-selling authors. Contributing authors in story order Clarissa Morgan, Emily Hussey, Sara Hartland, Melanie Pickering, HM Hodgson, Savannah Blaize, Louisa Duval, Caitlyn Lynch, Dakota Harrison, Georgia Moore, Fiona M Marsden and Sharyn Swanepoel.
Authors

Georgia is an Australian romance author who writes heartfelt and steamy contemporary romances. Her stories feature competent heroines who are still figuring out what they want from life, and heroes who’ve got emotional baggage to unpack. When not consuming copious amounts of pop-culture (mostly romance novels), she can be found singing in a choir, eating an endless amount of carbs, or being overly competitive at board games and trivia. Georgia’s debut novel, Four Night Stand, released in March 2024. It’s a spicy, forced proximity workplace romance set in Sydney, Australia. Join Georgia's mailing list for updates. Louisa Duval is an Australian author who writes small town, contemporary romance set in Ballydoon, where the heroes are rugged as the landscape around them, and the stories steamier than an Aussie heat wave. Louisa has worked in radio, recruitment, education, freelance writing and corporate communications, and once traipsed around a national park looking for wombat burrows. When she isn’t working in the city, she spends as much time as possible with her family at their riverside acreage watching the wallabies and drinking the local wine. She is a proud supporter of her local rural fire brigade and hopes she will never be in the front line of a bushfire and admires those who have. She lives with her husband, two kids, a lazy cattle dog-Kelpie cross, three chickens, and many indoor plants.

Savannah is a storyteller. She finds joy in books and in the tales she tells. She is passionate about engaging her readers, about bringing them into the pictures she paints with her words. Her readers often comment on how easily they can slip into the story and visualise the world she creates. From Paris To Forever is Savannah’s first published novel, but has many stories waiting in the wings to be written, and to engage her readers. She is a proud member of Romance Writers of Australia, the Melbourne Romance Writers Guild, and the Australian Romance Readers Association. Born in Scotland, Melbourne has been her home for many years, where she enjoys the wonderful food, exceptional theatre productions and numerous laneways boasting fabulous coffee venues. With several seasons in one day, Melbourne provides the cold blustery weather of the British Isles, the vista of multi toned autumn leaves scattered around the Paris end of Collins Street, the smack of the salty sea air in Williamstown, the expanse of caramel coloured sand lapped by gently frothing waves in Portsea. All ideal writing fodder for her active imagination.

Melanie Pickering is an Australian writer of urban gothic romantic thrillers that seamlessly blend mystery, romance, and more than a touch of the supernatural. A high school library assistant by day / writer by night, she is fuelled by dark chocolate and lives in a ninety-year-old house that is quite possibly haunted. She loves secrets, macabre facts, and is not afraid of the dark. Find out more and sign up for her VIP List here: https://melaniepickering.com/newslett... Sara Hartland writes rural and small town contemporary romance with plenty of heart and plenty of heat. Her debut story Ryan’s Return: A Granite Ridge Outback Romance was a finalist in the RuBY - Romantic Book of the Year awards by Romance Writers of Australia. Ryan Harrington knows a lot about success and more about covering his tracks. But when the only family he’s ever loved needs him, he’s prepared to risk discovery. But working as an undercover boss is complicated when he falls hard for the one woman he swore he'd never touch: his best friend’s sister. Ryan’s Return has a billionaire biker hero, a sassy bar manager, an Outback small town, family ties and some heat! Sara has since published a number of stories in romance anthologies and has big plans for more in 2024.

Sharyn spent years travelling Australia with her family. Her father was never sure how much of it she saw though, as she always had her nose in a book. Her friends will vouch she's kept her reading habits up. Her career has had many chapters. A photographer, a receptionist, a payroll officer, and a newspaper journalist, to name a few. She now hopes to focus on her own writing. She much prefers chocolate over wine, and could spend hours browsing op shops, libraries and bookstores. After many years living in Queensland, Sharyn now lives in Melbourne with her husband.
