In our "fake news" driven world, it is the deliberate misrepresentation of reality that confuses many; but, I am not one of them! My confusion runs I wonder why we need to believe in whatever there may be to guide and help us (but not those who do not share our feelings) so that we do not have to make moral and ethical choices ourselves, abdicating our critical individual responsibility. I guess, we just keep repeating humanity's tragic history with no end in sight, unable to learn from our past, in almost endless loops. Learning from the past may well be impossible! Like heat, time flows in one direction only; and by doing so, it loses energy. Our painful emotions and understandings of what went wrong, our collective memories, simply disappear to be experienced again and again... The following pieces form part of a commemorative puzzle that reflects the zeitgeist of our century.
