N.B. Roberts is the author of Halton Cray, her debut novel to the Shadows of the World series, inspired by Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre. Born and raised in Kent, United Kingdom, N.B. Roberts resides there with her fiancé and their daughter. Until recently she led the exciting work-life of software analysis/consultancy. Now a full time mother and part time writer, storytelling is a welcome larger part of everyday life.
