Nancie Laird Young lives on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, where she lived with and cared for her father until his death on July 6, 2022, a little over a year since "Tea with Dad, Finding Myself in My Father's Life entered the world. As a military BRAT, Nancie traveled with her family through Europe, the Far East, and across the United States. Besides contributions to books and magazine articles about the Internet, she held positions in Online Social Media Management, Content Development, and Strategy at WashingtonPost.com, Edmunds.com, LifetimeTV.com, and AOL/Time Warner, among others. She continues to work on two books, one about her mother—which continues this memoir series—and another for blocked writers. A novel idea lives in her head as it has for over 35 years. The characters keep aging.
