Nancy Kerr has served as the president of The International Children's Reading Foundation since 1998. In this role she has received national and state awards. She is a former classroom teacher, school board director, and assessment developer/trainer for the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (Princeton). She has chaired local and state school funding elections for over 20 years. She has a B.S. from Brigham Young University and M.Ed. from Washington State University.
