Nancy LiPetri lived on Lake Norman, North Carolina, fourteen years and shares her passion for the region through realism in her novels, The Wooded Path and Across the Lake. The character-driven contemporary stories entertain with the dynamics of a neighborhood group of women affected by the disappearance of a friend after a party boat ride. The second story extends to the Outer Banks of the Carolinas, and the upcoming third book in the Lake to Coast series will lead readers down to her current home of south Florida. Originally from Iowa, she has enjoyed living on both U.S. coasts and in her husband’s native Chicago. While it keeps her quite busy writing about believable characters experiencing a spectrum of issues people don’t always reveal to others, Nancy also takes time for pickleball, yoga, SUP, birding and photography, the beaches and snorkeling as well as connecting with readers on social media.
