Nancy Nix-Rice is a wardrobe and image consultant for women and men, from homemakers and pre-school teachers to corporate executives and television personalities. Her home-based business, First Impressions, which she established in 1989, has taken her across the United States, developing and presenting workshops for professional organisations and corporations on professional appearance, non-verbal communication, business etiquette and presentation skills. She contributes frequently to sewing publications such as McCall's Patterns magazine, Sew News and Update Newsletters. Her education includes a degree in accounting with a minor in fashion merchandising and a master's degree in corporate communications. She lives with her husband and family in St. Louis, Missouri.
