Nancy Runstedler grew up in Wellesley, Ontario. She has worked in both public and school libraries. Although her home library is overflowing with books, she intends to keep collecting. She lives with her daughter in southern Ontario. Her first tween/teen novel, Beautiful Goodbye (Dundurn Publishers),arrived July 2013. Her first nonfiction work, Pay It Forward Kids:Small Acts, Big Change (Fitzhenry & Whiteside),followed in October 2013. Thirteen is now her favourite number as this year began her publishing journey.
