As a psychotherapist in private practice for 30 years, Nancy Willbern, PhD has sat in a room with hundreds of people on the worst days of their lives and over time has helped them find the doorway on the other side of their pain. She didn’t write this book because she wanted to be an author but because after 30 years of listening, she has learned something important but often missed. First, these identity-shattering experiences need to be held in a space of respect and empathy, but beyond that, they need to be seen as thresholds to a whole new, more compassionate and wholistic, more expanded sense of self and experience of reality. That’s why Willbern wrote Rupture in the Canvas: the hidden doorway to your Soul’s evolution. She would love to share that message of hope with you. In addition, a condensed version of one of the chapters in the book, Splintered Pieces was published in the January/February edition of the journal, Spirituality and Health. Willbern lives on the edge of the Texas hill country with her husband, and Bear, their precious but rambunctious Golden Retriever puppy
