
N.E. McMorran is a British-Cypriot autistic award-winning author, and designer, who previously worked at the BBC and taught in London nursery, primary and secondary schools. She ran the Cyprus magazine publishing company AccessArts Publications Ltd, and more recently founded London based Spondylux Press run by autistic professionals to publish inclusive, own voice books by neurodivergent creatives. The author’s debut novel Moojag and the Auticode Secret, which won the 2021 Nautilus Award, reflects her experiences growing up in a neurodivergent family, as a mother and home educator, and the journey to her late autism diagnosis. During the pandemic she worked with author/poet Peter Street on his childhood memoir: Goalkeeper. Her second novel, the Moojag sequel—Lost Memories—is out October 2023 and available now for pre-Order.
