I was born in Washington state but raised on a farm outside a small town in northern Minnesota. Park Rapids was the ideal place to grow up and living in the country, I had lots of time to imagine story ideas I wanted to tell. Although I was very active in drama and competitive speech throughout my High School career, writing and getting a book published was a huge passion I never saw fulfilled, until today. Although I have written many books, Beyond Our Control is my first publication.
