Nelly Harper was born and raised in Yorkshire. She then moved to Scotland where she spent the next twenty years. She currently lives in the Blackdown Hills on the Devon/Somerset border. As well as the Albion Chronicles series, Nelly is also the author of The Jet Necklace. She is currently working on a new series, set in the wonderfully atmospheric bronze age.
