In a corrupted Never Land, Peter becomes a young man as the boyhood fantasy around him grows the jaded teeth of adulthood. Pirates, once confined to a single ship, have taken over the coasts, mermaids work the brothels of Buccaneer City, and worst of all, fairies are disappearing at an alarming rate. Peter returns to Earth to fetch Wendy—and instead finds her great-great-great-great granddaughter Gwendolyn, a musician with big dreams and even bigger responsibilities that keep her from living them. She doesn't have time for the shenanigans of a charming swashbuckler with his head in the clouds. But together, the woman who never had a childhood and the man who never grew up may be the perfect team to save the Never Land.
