Nicholas Jobe was born and raised in Victoria, Texas. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Humanities with a focus on English Language Arts, Literature, and Reading. He also has a Master's in Library Science and is working on a PhD in Learning Technologies. He was a high school English teacher for three years before realizing it wasn't quite right for him, though it did give him better insight into the mind of the modern teenager. He then taught ESL abroad and currently works as an elementary school librarian. ​ Some of his favorite books include Harry Potter, Battle Royale, and Catch-22.
