is a writer, educator and community organizer living in Vermont by way of San Diego and Philadelphia. Nico's poetry has appeared in Poet Lore, Nimrod International Journal, MiPOesias, HOLD, Big Bell, Plenitude, Bedfellows, and APIARY Magazine. His chapbook, Flower Wars, was the recipient of the Gloria Anzaldúa Poetry Prize. Nico is an alumni of the Lambda Literary Writer's Retreat and founder of the Rogue Writing Workshop in Philadelphia, which provides access to workshop instruction with accomplished poets for those writing and learning outside of academic institutions.
