Part one of Nirvana ended with Maia learning about the role Kadeem played in Juvie’s accident. The betrayal is something she can’t seem to get over, and decides that, their friendship is over. With Juvie on life support, Aria’s fast paced new life, and the end of her twenty year friendship with her best friend, Maia’s life seems to be spiraling. In the midst of sorrow, Pierre is there for her in ways that she thought only Kadeem could be. Within a months time, she finds herself living in one of Windermere’s luxurious gated communities with a man who treats her like a queen. Some would even say she’s finally found her ‘Nirvana’. Sadly, despite having more now than she’s had in years, Maia isn’t as happy as she thought she would be. Kadeem might’ve bit off more than he could chew, finally stepping into his role as Kareem Jackson’s son. With half of Kingston under his reign, he finds himself in uncomfortable position, after uncomfortable position. However, all of the pressure he’s under serves as the perfect distraction. He misses Maia. Their friendship ending left such a void in his life that not even making hundreds of thousands of dollars is able to sooth his broken heart. When a line that neither Maia nor Kadeem saw being crossed, is crossed, Maia panics and makes a hasty decision that might cost her, her life.
