
Nathan was born on the Navajo reservation, the fourth child of a trader, and due to age and mobility issues was obliged to remain there despite the circumstances. Nathan wrote “Handbook of Nothin’,” a middle grade slice-of-life novel about a rural Utah farm boy in the 1970s, and recently completed the audiobook version on Audible.com. Yes, he does narration, too. He is married to Peggy Loosle, a retired school teacher, who has learned the stark truth of what living with a writer can portend. They have two grown daughters, Megan and Kelsey.
