Leonardo Patrignani was born in Moncalieri (Torino) in 1980. Leonardo has been the singer and songwriter of a heavy metal band called Beholder (with the alias Patrick Wire). Beholder signed with Dragonheart Records in 2000 and released three records in the following 4 years (The Legend Begins, Wish For Destruction, Lethal Injection). In 2005 Leonardo started studying as an actor and dubber, and now he's a professional dubber (involved in many famous videogames like Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed 2). From 2009 to 2012, Patrignani has also been the official Italian live commentator in the EA Sports offline event concerning FIFA (world's most popular soccer simulation). In 2011, Leonardo signes with Mondadori, the most important Italian publisher, after proposing his Multiversum Saga. Rights are sold in several countries, including United Kingdom, France, Turkey, Spain/Latinoamerica and Australia. The Multiversum Saga: 1- MULTIVERSUM 2- MEMORIA 3- UTOPIA 4- MULTIVERSUM STORIES (3 ebook spin off anthologies) Multiversum has also been selected for the prestigious Sci-Fi encyclopedia "Guida alla letteratura di Fantascienza", by Carlo Bordoni (Odoya, 2013), and it's been voted as "Book of the Year 2013" in Poland. Also Memoria won the "Book of the Year 2014". In 2015, Leonardo Patrignani comes back with a brand new paranormal thriller about near death experiences and life after life, titled THERE. The book has been published in Italy by Mondadori, and translated to Spanish, French and Turkish. THERE has been launched by the author at the 2016 International Book Fairs in Bogotá (Colombia) and Buenos Aires (Argentina), where the book - released by Ediciones B and titled Allí - has been a successful highlight. Movie rights have been optioned in Italy for a film adaptation. In 2017, Patrignani writes a dystopian novel called TIME DEAL, published by DeA Planeta Libri. Translation rights have already been sold to Pegasus (Turkey). Composer Giuseppe Centonze writes a soundtrack based on the novel, released in 2019 by his Age of Chronicles company. For this record Patrignani writes a theme titled Dealing With Time (track nr. 8). In 2019, the author is back on the shelves with a middle-grade mystery/coming of age novel called DARKNESS (DeA Planeta Libri). The book has won the 63rd edition of the Bancarellino Award. In 2020, Leonardo Patrignani and screenplayer Francesco Trento (with illustrator Agnese Innocente) release a non-fiction book for young readers about the hidden structure of every story. The title is "NO SPOILER! La mappa segreta di tutte le storie", once again published by DeA Planeta Libri. Leonardo Patrignani is represented by Piergiorgio Nicolazzini Literary Agency.
