My memories keep me awake at night. The nightmares come in the morning, when the first hint of sunlight creeps in through the curtains. Summer is almost over, and now Mary Hades has to start a new school in the sleepy village of Ashforth. Making friends is tricky to balance with paranormal activity. Mary must tread carefully when a vengeful ghost haunts her first day at school. With dead best friend Lacey, Mary finds herself in the middle of a tangled web of secrets and lies spreading through Ashforth. Things are not what they seem, but is it the dead or the living who are the most dangerous? This haunting third book in the Mary Hades series explores the dark side of human behaviour. With strong language and scenes of horror, it is best suited for those aged fifteen and over.
