Juliet Da Vinci is less trusting than she was last summer when all her so-called friends believed her father killed Mariotto Romeo. New friends are in order—honest, and loyal friends. That’s Juliet’s focus until a woman named Hakim is knifed to death in the family wine cellar, during the festivities at the Harvest Ball. When the Da Vinci’s estate manager is accused of the crime, Juliet goes undercover at her family’s wine company to find the real culprit. Undoubtedly, the killer is involved in the wine business since Hakim Wines has attempted a hostile take-over of Renaissance Wines. There are plenty of suspects to sniff out, the odd house to break into, and a drag race to keep ahead of the murderer. But more people die, and Juliet gets her cutlery crossed. Now she needs both her new and old friends to help solve the case once the dagger-happy killer sets his knives in her direction.
