Angela has just come of age, but her initiation into womanhood is interrupted by a dragon who wants it for himself. Angela is becoming a woman. The ritual is tonight, and she’s to join her peers in the woods. She’s the guest of honor and the only one not wearing a mask. First a demonstration shows her what to triple stuffed and on display for everyone to enjoy. But what no one expected was for a dragon to fly overhead, heading for the village. Weapons are no use against it. The only way to save the village is to offer it a maiden, and it so happens that Angela’s initiation rites were interrupted. The knights who take her up to the mountain as a tribute think it’s a terrible waste. But the dragon doesn’t want to eat her. And it won’t stop until it’s had every ounce of innocence she has to offer.
