Niko When I saw her from across the ice, it was want at first sight. When I looked into her eyes it was need at second sight, and when I brushed my hand against hers, I knew I was hers forever. The look in her eyes told me she was living in her own personal hell and she didn’t trust anyone. I wanted to be the man to change that. I wanted her trust, I wanted her smiles, and I wanted her love, but most of all I wanted her to feel loved, feel strong, feel protected. She’s never had it and I was going to be the man who gave it to her. Lettie I didn’t know what to expect when I signed my brother up with the Mini Miners program. I just wanted to give him a little bit of peace and happiness. I certainly didn’t expect to be mesmerized by deep blue eyes watching me from across the ice. I didn’t expect to relax ever so slightly when he smiled, I didn’t expect to find trust in those eyes and I certainly didn’t expect the peace and safety that came from being in his arms. Despite the hell my brother and I were living in, I found strength with him at my side, we’d found family. I just needed to figure out how to keep them.

About The Author Danielle Wright was born in California, but raised in Colorado where she currently resides. She has one younger brother and is close to her family. She loves to read, and has had that passion from a very young age, love stories always being her favorite.
