On the Trail of the Ruthless Warlock
2019
Fantasy - What is a journey? To some, it might involve simply travelling from place to place. But a true journey includes a search into one's own heart, to find what lies inside. Destruction has been found close—too close—to the city. The city sorcerers and sorceresses consult the Great Seer, whose vision states that 'No man can defeat the warlock. But there is a One. The One shall be given the Way by the Witch of the Great East Wood.' And so two sorceresses and the group forming their escort set out in search of the Witch for more information. But who is the One who can defeat the warlock? If no 'man' can do so, is the One a sorceress? Or perhaps the female soldier in the escort? Or perhaps a male who is not a human at all? The group has many questions, and they will find some answers—perhaps more than expected—On the Trail of the Ruthless Warlock.
