With the remodel complete Lou and the gang have settled into what Lou hopes will be a regular weekly routine including the new amateur sleuth group, Murder on Tuesdays. When the cold case the groups selects begins to create modern day problems Lou is forced to admit that the group may have gotten themselves in to something they likely shouldn't have. Meanwhile it's Halloween in Holiday Bay and the entire town seems ripe to celebrate.
