The Blue Valley Pack, came close to being discovered by the local humans seven years ago. They have since realised the townspeople ask a lot less questions if they know a little bit about their mysterious neighbours, and so they get to find that little out under the pack's control.

And every Halloween since, they have opened the doors to their pack house and orchestrated a show.

It all went fantastically for six years, until on the seventh year, the beta's mate walked in.... She's human.

Sammy works as a vetinary ranger at a wildlife sanctuary. She rarely goes or sees anyone outside of work, preferring her quiet life, taking care of the animals who would never hurt her the way the people of her past did. Then her work mates buy her a ticket to go with them to see what they claim is the most amazing haunted house ever.

Her life was much less quiet after that...
