I'm an art educator who lives in coastal Rockport, Texas with my husband John. We are the parents of four grown children and grandparents to seven wonderful grandchildren. "Always, Ian" is my first book and was a deep exploration into my father's letters home during WWII. In all, I transcribed 275 letters. Writing the narrative in this book, reading my dad's letters, looking at photographs and researching the major battles of WWII has been a wonderful way to capture my family's history and gain a much deeper, intimate insight of a soldier's life. I'm sharing this journey with you, the reader. While you didn't know my dad personally, I'm sure you will enjoy the same richness, emotional depth and first-person account of what life was like during WWII. If time allows, I look forward to composing more books in the future.
