The Lost Otter

2015

When Aedan disappeared six years ago, his boyfriend, Brody, was devastated. Now Aedan is back, and they both must face the secrets that once tore them apart. On a tiny island off the coast of Washington, Brody has made a successful life for himself as a veterinarian. The highlight of his practice is when he's able to help wild animals and rehab them to be released back to the wild. It's a simple, quiet life, which is exactly what he needs to be able to piece himself back together after Aedan, the man he loves, disappeared six years earlier. He had given up hope of ever seeing Aedan alive again, until one night after an otter shows up on his doorstep, Aedan comes in to take the otter away. Even if Brody didn't want to smack the sexy grin off his face, he still wouldn't let Aedan just walk out with the otter. He's responsible for its safety, and Aedan hasn't given him nearly enough answers to make the past six years all better. Aedan doesn't have time to answer Brody's questions though. He's got bigger problems, primarily a clan of bear shifters who claim the otter, Aedan's little brother, stole something from them. He lives in a dangerous world he never wanted Brody to be mixed up in, but it seems Brody can't help but get into trouble all on his own. His brother invites danger, Brody stumbles into it, and Aedan just wants to keep them both safe without losing his mind.

When a bear shifter decides that a shy marine biologist is going to be his mate, this human doesn’t stand a chance. Pierce Nillian is shy, socially awkward, and hasn’t had a real date in years. At least not one that wasn’t with someone from one of his therapy groups. When he meets a man needing help with an injured dog, Pierce knows how to help. He’s a marine biologist who works with animals all day, and also has two dogs of his own. Once the dog is patched up, he expects not to see Tim again. But the next day Tim comes back, and this time he’s brought reinforcements in the form of his sister, along with Pierce’s little sister, who it turns out are dating each other. To add to it, Nikki and Jo can’t be together officially until Tim finds a mate, because Nikki and Tim are bear shifters. Pierce has done a lot of things for his sister in the past, but becoming a bear’s mate is a tall order. His gut reaction is to refuse, but Tim is good at getting his way, and he wants Pierce for himself.

2015

As the son of the bear clan leader, Zeke's purpose is to take the mate his father has decided for him and bring the Washington clans together. He has a better idea though, one that involves seducing a sexy otter and running away with him instead of doing what his family expects of him. But things aren't easy between Phillip and Zeke and with the bears hunting them, and Aedan and Brody, it seems all they ever do is argue. When Zeke finally has enough of it and decides to go back home, secrets that he's been keeping from Phillip spill out and Phillip turns his back on him. Zeke understands and knows it's what he deserves. Phillip is glad to be rid of the lying bear, however when he sees Zeke alone and miserable at the same bar where they met, and he finds out what has become of Zeke since he went back to his family, Phillip can't just step aside. They may not always get along, but Phillip can't watch Zeke suffer either. He'll need a miracle to fix the mess they're in, but if he can convince Zeke to try then maybe love won't be so impossible after all.

The Ornery Otter

2016

When rogue orcas are out making trouble for shifters, a young otter doesn’t stand a chance in the open ocean. Now that he’s reached his age of maturity, otter shifter Noah is ready for his migration, where he’ll travel down the Pacific coast in search of a new place to call home and hopefully find his mate. He has only barely begun when he comes across Herm, another otter, who has his paw tangled up in a wire. He’s hurt and they need help, so Noah calls his cousin. With Denali’s help, Noah and Herm are put up in an empty house while Herm heals up enough to continue on his way. But the waters aren’t safe for otters, not with a couple of rogue orcas making trouble for them, and as the disappearances increase, Noah realizes they’re all in danger. He’s sure that Herm is his mate, whether the grumpy old otter wants to admit it or not, and Noah knows he must do anything to protect them both, especially when trouble decides to invite itself in.

Caitlin was fortunate growing up to be surrounded by family and teachers that encouraged her love of reading. She has always been a voracious reader and that love of the written word easily morphed into a passion for writing. If she isn't writing, she can usually be found studying as she works toward her counseling degree. She comes from a military family and the men and women of the armed forces are close to her heart. She also enjoys gardening and horseback riding in the Colorado Rockies where she calls home with her wonderful fiancé and their dog. Her belief that there is no one true path to happily ever after runs deeply through all of her stories.
