Patricia Weenolsen, a psychologist, is the author of Transcendence of Loss over the Life Span and The Art of Dying, favorably reviewed by Publishers Weekly, Library Journal, Tacoma News Tribune, Newark Star-Ledger, and others. She has also published short fiction in TriQuarterly, Southern Humanities Review, Confrontation, Buffalo Spree and many other magazines under the name Patricia Otway-Ward . She has appeared on The Today Show, The Joan Rivers Show, and National Public Radio. Her most recent publications are the first three historical novels, The Cave of Storms, Daughter of the Morning Star, and An American Children’s Crusade, soon to be followed by Gone-Away Mary. She has also written a psychological thriller, Mindstalker, to be followed by another.
