Paul Stout earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism Communications from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He worked a short time for local newspapers, before moving to a career in marketing and sales management for Fortune 500 technology companies. Besides writing, he loves reading, easily finishing 75-100 books each year. He also loves spending time with his wife and five children, hiking, mountain biking and any sport involving a ball. He is fluent in German and Dutch, having lived five years in Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands. He was once hired as an undercover CIA agent, has been hit by train, almost hit by a plane, and run over twice by a car … but those are stories for another book.
