
Paulina Tuchschneider was born in 1987 in Poland. In 1989 she immigrated to Israel, on the first plane that took off from Warsaw to Tel Aviv. Paulina is a serial drop out: she dropped out of the military, from her art studies at the "Bezalel" Academy of Art and Design, and from the "Jump Cut" school of film editing. Today she is a video editor at the "Hamakor (The Source)" show, the acclaimed investigative series, and is an avid fan of current affairs and documentary cinema. Paulina resides in Ramat Gan, where she lives comfortably with her cats and mother-in-law's son. She penned several short stories that have been published in various magazines, "Girl Soldier" is her debut novel. She has also adapted the novel into a short script which won funding from a national grant, the film is currently in pre-production. Her next book will be released soon.
