Gregory Frost is an American author of fantasy, science fiction and thrillers. He taught fiction writing at Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania for eighteen years. A graduate of the iconic Clarion Workshop, he has taught at Clarion four times, including the first session following its move to the University of California at San Diego in 2007. He has also been an instructor for the Odyssey and Alpha Workshops. Frost has been a finalist for every major fantasy, sf, and horror fiction award. His novelette, "Madonna of the Maquiladora" was a finalist for the James Tiptree Award, the Nebula Award, the Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award, and the Hugo Award. His latest novel is RHYMER, the first in the Rhymer series from Baen Books. His previous work, SHADOWBRIDGE, was voted one of the best fantasy novels of 2009 by the American Library Association, it was also a finalist for the James Tiptree Jr. Award. The historical thriller FITCHER'S BRIDES, was a Best Novel finalist for both the World Fantasy and International Horror Guild Awards for Best Novel. Publishers Weekly called his Golden Gryphon short story collection, ATTACK OF THE JAZZ GIANTS & OTHER STORIES, “one of the best of the year.” It has now been reprinted in slightly altered form as THE GIRLFRIENDS OF DORIAN GRAY & OTHER STORIES, available through Book View Cafe. Current short fiction includes "A Hard Day's Night at the Opera" in the Beatles-themed anthology ACROSS THE UNIVERSE, edited by Michael Ventrella and Randee Dawn, and "Episode in Liminal State Technical Support, or Mr. Grant in the Bardo" in THREE TIME TRAVELERS WALK INTO... edited by Michael A. Ventrella; "Traveling On" in the Sept/Oct. 2020 ASIMOV'S SCIENCE FICTION magazine, and "Ellende" in WEIRD TALES #364. He spent time (did time?) as a researcher for non-fiction television shows on werewolves and the "Curse of the Pharaohs," and acted in a couple of frightening (not necessarily in the sense of scary) indie horror movies. Gregory Frost is a founding partner, with author Jonathan Maberry, of The Philadelphia Liars Club, a group of professional authors and screenwriters, and one of the interviewers for The Liars Club Oddcast, a podcast interviewing novelists, short story writers, screenwriters, illustrators, and more.

Nació en Bahía Blanca, Argentina, en 1972; estudió ingeniería industrial. Publicó en diversos sitios web como Pulsar, Axxón y Alfa Eridiani. Una de sus historias, "Fervor", fue seleccionada para la antología Razas Estelares, publicada en el 2004 por Editorial Libro Andrómeda, en co-autoría con Graciela Lorenzo Tillard. "En el patio, con Mortimer, conmigo", fue el relato seleccionado para el volumen 3 de la antología de terror Paura Sus escritores favoritos son Stephen King, Jack Vance y Philip K. Dick.

José Mª Tamparillas nace en la ciudad de Zaragoza en 1970. Comienza su actividad literaria publicando en algunas páginas web especializadas como “Axxon”, “Rescepto”, “Necronomicon”, “Divergencia cero”, “NGC 3660” y “Quoliphot”. En papel, publicó algunos de sus relatos en revistas y fanzines ya extintos como “Miasma” e “Historias asombrosas”. Es miembro fundador y actual secretario de NOCTE, Asociación Española de Escritores de Terror. Actualmente colabora con la revista de comic “Cthulhu” y además publica sus obras en otras revistas como “Calabazas en el trastero”, “Historias asombrosas” y “Sable”. Sus últimos relatos han aparecido en antologías como ” Paura 3″, “Antología Z 2, especial Nocte” en la editorial Dolmen, “La sangre es vida” en la editorial Mandrágora y “Aquelarre. Antología del cuento de terror español actual” en la editorial Salto de Página. Su relato “El mazo”, fue seleccionado en 2008 para la recopilación anual de la AEFCFT (Asociación española de fantasía ciencia ficción y terror) Fabricantes de sueños. Su última obra editada es una novela corta, “Los signos de Caín”, perteneciente a la colección “Nuevas leyendas aragonesas”, (Mira editores 2011) “Carne de mi carne”, de la editorial Saco de Huesos, es su primera publicación en solitario.

"Alfredo Álamo (Valencia, 1975) escribe bordeando territorios fronterizos, entre sombras y engranajes, siempre en terreno de sueños que a veces se convierten en pesadillas. Ha publicado cuentos en revistas y prestigiosas antologías dedicadas al terror y la ciencia ficción como Aquelarre (Salto de Página), Paura o Artifex, además de novelas como Kobold o Maginot. En 2014 publicó su primera novela para jóvenes adultos, Tormenta, cuya continuación, Plaga, apareció en 2018 En el campo del microrrelato ha publicado dos antologías, Lunarias (Viaje a Bizancio, 2005) y Bestiario infame de la ciudad adormecida (Amargord, 2015). En 2010 publicó el poemario de poesía breve El necrófago galante en el sello 23 escalones. El detective que tenía mariposas en el estómago (Orciny Press, 2018) fue su primera incursión en el género Bizarro al que siguió Morder el bordillo (2020). Dentro del campo del terror social y la fantasía oscura ha publicado la antología "La vieja sangre" (2022) y la novela "After Punk" (2023). En 2025 apareció su primer título de ciencia ficción, "El sueño de Escila". Su última novela se enmarca dentro del terror histórico: Cámara Oscura (El transbordador, 2025). Ha sido ganador de 9 Premios Ignotus, tanto por relato y poesía como gracias al webcómic La legión del espacio, publicado en colaboración con el dibujante Fede Carroza. En 2019 ganó el prestigioso premio de relato Domingo Santos."
